It has been SUCH a MISERABLE winter. The snow has been pretty normal and manageable, but the weeks and weeks of sub-zero temps have been KILLING me. Vermont is a wonderful place to live except in January, February, and March.
We went to Great Escape waterpark a little later than usual this year, but it was still so worth it to get into the tropical heat and thaw out for a while!
As usual, the Wave Rider was a big hit. Austin is determined to get good at it so he kept going even after some truly spectacular wrecks. Gavin does it just for fun, and he's perfectly happy just to ride on his stomach. Lucy, however, is a natural at this. I think she actually got bored after a while because it was so easy for her. Maybe we need to get her the stand-up surfing lessons next time.
Now THIS is my idea of a vacation!
