I was hoping we could plan a big family adventure for Austin's 42nd birthday, but it turned out he had to go to work. Bummer. But the kids were determined that he would have a fabulous birthday party complete with a "theme" so they worked all day creating a Basketball Party for Austin's special day.
There were basketball-themed decorations, balloons colored to look like basketballs, and all the basketballs in the house mustered for use as props. They wrote a song to perform and searched iTunes for a basketball song they could dance to. And the piece de resistance . . .
