Gavin wanted an engineering party this year, but I just couldn't figure out how to do engineering activities for seven-year-olds. So he settled for a Lego party, which turned out to be just as fun.

We played a bunch of games involving Legos -- but really, the kids had the most fun just building cool stuff together. And eating cake. And running around outside on a beautiful early fall day.
